St. George's / Grenada

This building was designed to house the headquarters of Grenada's national water utility company NAWASA. The design was prepared as part of design/build competition. The building houses administrative and technical support functions as well as customer services and sales departments. In addition, a substantial amount of parking was required on site to accommodate the many service vehicles in NAWASA's fleet.

An extensive study of pedestrian and vehicular flows was done in order to address the significant traffic congestion in the area. Located along the Carenage in St. George's the building takes its visual cues from neighbouring historic Georgian buildings. Although modern in appearance the building maintains a similar rhythm, scale and massing allows it to blend in seamlessly with its surroundings.
