Westerhall Point, St. David's
What started as a simple renovation turned into a total reconstruction after structural defects were discovered in the existing building.
Located on the Westerhall Point, peninsula this house enjoys spectacular views of Westerhall Bay. The split level house is nestled into the site and is barely visible from the nearby road. The entrance to the house is via a slate covered courtyard containing two reflecting ponds. Once inside the house the view is immediately apparent through a wall of sliding glass doors that encloses the open plan bedroom flanking either side of the living spaces. A rooftop terrace kitchen, dining and living area as well as an office completes the composition. The material palette was kept simple with a mixture of natural stone, hardwoods and whitewashed walls.
