Set on the hillside overlooking the picturesque Grand Anse Beach in Grenada’s tourist belt, an L-shaped residential development encompasses four separate units with shared facilities of a swimming pool serving as a focal point, and a rooftop deck containing a bar and lounge. Key considerations for the design were the maintenance of privacy and capturing the privileged ocean views. Exterior articulation of the different volumes with careful consideration of the fenestration and landscaping results in a scale, proportion and materiality in sympathy with the surrounding hillside.
