Project Description:

This project was designed to satisfy the client’s programme by maximizing the use to the external areas of the site, while ensuring security of the property in a new gated community of Georgetown Guyana. Originally, the town was built below sea level with canals designed to provide drainage that no longer function as they should. For this reason, it was necessary to raise the site level by three feet to mitigate the danger of flooding.

The layout of the building consists of an L-shaped plan with the ground level having open-plan living extending to a large, covered deck and pool with secondary spaces for the laundry, office and gym. The first level contains four large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a shared lounge area for use by all occupants.
